Dillinger Musical – I composed the music for this musical written by Claude Solnik of Queens, NY. I have been meeting with music Director Steve Cornine by phone and tweaking the songs with his input. Last week, I rewrote the last song called #39 No Happy Ending. It is very long and complicated so I split it into three sections and now it ends the show with a bang.
Esther Musical – I composed the music for this musical written by Ed Bryan which is a contemporary version of the Esther Bible Chapter. We have been having regular reading sessions with pianist Cedric and have started making demo recordings of the songs for promotional purposes. The show is coming along quite nicely.
Consortium for New Music non-profit – Janice Mayfield, a choir director and I are starting a non-profit for classical music composers to showcase new works in the Spokane and N. Idaho areas. We are currently looking for interested Board members. Contact us through my website www.EdwardsMusicSite.com.
www.EdwardsMusicSite.com, LLC This is the legal name of my newly registered LLC.
InkTip – I started subscribing to a tip sheet which sends weekly lists of film producers looking for scripts. I had written three screenplays, and I just converted three of my musical theater scripts to film scripts, so I now have six screenplays to pitch, including Karaoke Nights, The Bureau-rats, The Pianist, Stealing Mona Lisa, Qualchan and Whistalks and Christmas On The Concourse.
