The land of Puerto Rico, an island with a lot of fervor.
A beautiful Pearl with a big heart.
Where the Indian, the whites and blacks founded a nation,
Bursting with a beautiful, loving race.
Blood flowed in the battles, when the invader came,
The people always resisting the cannon balls.
Now it is my home and people, with free expression.
Without prejudices or discrimination.
This is my Puerto Rico, a humble people,
