Lyrics

EL GABACHO HABLA ESPANOL

Había un gabacho y dos migrantes, y los obreros estaban hablando sobre su ropa.
Decían que su ropa se miraba rara.
Se pusieron rojo cuando respondió;

CORO
Cuidado tu lengua. Cuidado que dices. Tu no sabes, si el gabacho habla español.

There was a gringo and two migrant workers, and they were talking about his clothing.
They said that his clothes were pretty strange,
and they turned red when he spoke to them and said;

CHORUS
Watch out for your language. Watch out what you say.
You never know, if the gringo speaks Spanish.

El gabacho hablaba con un indio anciano. Le pedía que enseñara alguna quechua.
Le dijo "Aporatate, marichao," Que quiere decir "Vete, maricon."

CORO
Cuidado tu lengua. Cuidado que dices. Tu no sabes, si el gabacho habla español.

The gringo was speaking with an old Indian, when he asked him to teach him some Quechua.
He told him, "Aporatate, marichao,” which means, “Why don’t you leave me, you queer.”

CHORUS
Watch out for your language. Watch out what you say.
You never know, if the gringo speaks Spanish

Estaban en un restorán discutiendo la cuenta. El dueño le llamaba “viejo, pelado, cabron. “
El dijo en español, “¿Porque me llamaste así?” Tenía vergüenza y corrió,

CORO
Cuidado tu lengua. Cuidado que dices. Tu no sabes, si el gabacho habla español.

They were in a restaurant discussing the bill. the owner called him an "old, bald-headed son of a bitch."
He told him in Spanish, "Why did you call me that?" The owner got embarrased and he ran. ,

CHORUS
Watch out for your language. Watch out what you say.
You never know, if the pale face speaks Spanish.
