Esther Musical – I got a call from a Playwright named Ed Bryen proposing I compose music for his new musical which is based upon the Old Testament Book of Esther but in a contemporary setting. I finished composing the music last week. This is the third musical I have composed this year 2024 making a total of 12 musicals I have composed. Ed has had plays produced in New York and Chicago.
Post Falls Historical Society Video – I completed shooting and editing a video featuring Kim Brown discussing the history of Post Falls and the Post Falls Museum. I inserted music and photos onto the timeline and then donated this video to the society and now I am working on an agreement for me to write a show featuring a musical revue of the history of Post Falls to be used for an annual fund-raising event.
Tony Alvarez – I completed mentoring Tony Alvarez on the music business and he has gone on to pursue his own music projects. Good luck.
Mildred Bailey Tribute Film – I submitted a draft proposed agreement to the Coeur d’Alene Tribe for a documentary movie featuring Cecilia Curtis of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe singing songs made famous by Mildred Bailey, also a member of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe. In 2020 I transcribed the music for an 8-piece band and directed six concerts at the Coeur d’Alene Casino which were very successful. We videotaped those shows and I will hopefully have a short movie ready for distribution soon.
Every Dream (Has Wings) – I produced a music CD featuring Timothy Broncheau Allen drumming and singing native music in English and native syllables. It is available for purchase on Trepstar.com
What Child Is This arrangement for Paul Grove - I arranged this song for solo guitar, and it will be performed by Professor Paul Grove of Gonzaga University in December at the Unity Church at 2900 S. Bernard in Spokane, Washington.
