Qualchan Opera – I visited the Yakama Nation on 10/26/2016 where I met with Cultural Committee Chair Lewis and asked the Yakama Nation to review my Qualchan Opera and endorse it. I suggested also that they could use my work as a pageant to draw tourists to the Yakama Nation reservation, and that I could write a sequel that would be positive and upbeat and show how the Yakama Nation has come back and prospered since the tragedies of 1855 to 1858. The leaders I spoke to were friendly and interested and invited me to keep pursuing discussions about this.
Yakama Nation Radio KYNR DJ Ryan Craig interviewed me on the air where we talked about my Qualchan Opera project and he played a track from the Unity Consciousness CD I produced featuring Hopi language singer Jacob Johns. Ryan invited my wife and I to the Salmon Feed Recognition dinner at the Winterlodge where we greatly enjoyed the friendliness and hospitality of all those we met there, as well as all the great food including salmon, elk and venison.

Masterminds – This is a movie based on a true story about the theft of $17 million dollars from an armored car company by bungling amateur burglars who turn on each other. Okay, it is another entertaining mindless comedy with no socially redeeming features, but occasionally, we all need this type of entertainment that doesn’t require any thought, don’t we?
Ignite Theater Improv – We went to a second improve performance at the Ignite 11/5/2016 and again had a laughing out loud great time. These shows are on the first Saturday of every month at the Ignite Theater, 10814 E Broadway Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA.
